The Los Angeles Business Team is integral to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s economic development goals of strengthening the socio-economic conditions of all communities throughout our City. The purpose of the LA Business Team is to retain, grow and attract quality businesses and jobs to the City of Los Angeles. Thus, one of our fundamental goals is to make the City of Los Angeles business-friendly by providing prompt and effective service to our business and development community.

WHAT WE DO

• Help small, medium and large businesses do business in the City;
• Increase private sector investment and tax revenue generation;
• Increase the supply of quality and workforce housing; and
• Increase the provision of neighborhood goods and services.
